Look how skinny James is

Our bodies are getting healthier, but we've still got a way to go. I'm thinking maybe December (after 12 months of effort) will be time for the real "after shots". Still, it's fun to see the changes after just 4 months.

For my mom

Here's a shot of Violet wearing an outfit I wore when I was a baby (yep, 27 years ago). The outfit was a hand-me-down from my older sister who wore it 10 1/2 years before that.

Fun 5K

I ran my first real jog from start-to-finish 5K on Saturday. AND it was fun! It took me a full 32 minutes to finish it (I know, I know, you can run a 10K then clean your house and prepare a meal in the time it took me to run the 5K), but for me that was great.

Easter fun

We hope you all had a great Easter. Atticus enjoyed getting his hands dirty, and Violet couldn't resist getting her tongue a little dirty.

We've been having even more fun in the last few weeks on nice weather days. There's been jogging to the park, playing on the playground, tricycle riding, and all manner of silliness outside.

All dressed up

Uncle Chris got married at the end of March and we enjoyed getting to spend time with family and celebrate the occasion.
