Weekend Update with Atticus Bradley

Atticus went to the aquarium last weekend.

His cousins Kamryn and Kyle invited him.

They looked at many interesting aquatic creatures.

They went swimming together afterward,
and saw more interesting aquatic creatures.

Atticus invited his cousins to sleep over and took them to see the animals on the farm the next day.

On Sunday he wore his new outfit from Cousin Julie.

Most people thought he looked handsome, especially the grandmas.

Atticus is Five Months Old!

It's hard to believe it, but Atticus is already five months old. These days he:

• Weighs about 19 pounds
• Does lots of tummy time push-ups
• Rolls from his tummy to his back
• Is a great giggler
• Is a champion splasher in the pool
• Pulls hair, grabs noses, and yanks on jewelry
• Fights hard to try get out of taking naps but is an angel at bedtime

Atticus loves the pool. He just can't help splashing when he's there. Even when he gets himself right in the face.

This week, we finally captured one of the most elusive critters
on film: The Rolling Atticus.
It's pretty cute, but he's not quite an expert yet.

Atty's Ultimate Compliment

When I plan something fun to do with Atticus he thanks me by staying awake through the entire activity and getting himself totally worn out and ready for a nap by the end of it. It's the ultimate compliment from him if he can keep his little eyes open for an entire walk or trip to the pool. Today we went to the farm nearby to see the animals for the second time. We met a playgroup there. He must have really loved it, because he stayed awake to watch the other children and look at the animals the whole time. He was wiped out when we got back:
