On Friday my brother and his family welcomed an adorable new addition to their family, a sweet little girl. Atticus and Violet like their new cousin pretty well, but were especially thrilled to have her older siblings over for a sleepover while their mom and dad were in the hospital with the baby. They went on a fun walk, played with toys, jumped on the bed, watched a movie and ate popcorn, made (and ate) homemade cookies, and giggled a lot. Violet finds older kids especially hilarious and Atticus wants to be just like them.

Wow! I bet your nephews wish they had a new baby every day, just so they can come over to your house and do it all over again. I had some kids over today whose family was in the midst of having a baby and it wasn't nearly as exciting. Bravo for making a memorable experience for everyone.
