Our California Adventure

We drove 700 miles, we stayed with my sister's family--fitting five more bodies into her two-bedroom apartment (thank you Katrina and Jared!), we visited Disneyland, we went to the beach three times, we went to Irvine Regional Park, we went out to eat plenty of times, played at the neighborhood park, played some more, went to my niece's school carnival, and drove 700 miles again. And we did it with a 3 1/2 year-old, 2 year-old, and a 4 month-old. AND we loved it (most of the time). It was a really fun (and exhausting) trip. Atticus REALLY wanted to stay and play with his cousin and not come home to Utah. He talks about going back to California all the time. We need a little rest first. ; )

Lucy just pointed to pictures of Violet and said, "There's me!" Ryann is impressed that they got to meet the real girl from Tangled. I can't believe you did this trip with such little kids! You're amazing. Maybe someday my little girls will see Disneyland too, but for now it doesn't hurt that they can look at Violet's pictures and think they were there. ;)

I love Felix's little smile in the picture of James holding him. He is so cute! I'm glad it was a fun trip!

What a fun trip! You certainly are brave to do it with three littles in the car! Way to go!

Fun stuff! I love trips like that, even when they are totally exhausting. Your kids are getting so big and so cute! Felix is so adorable and fits right in with the family--all three look so much alike.
