Atticus is learning to love reading. He looks at the pictures and listens intently when he's being read to, and sometimes coos and babbles like he's reading as well (seen above reading with Grandpa and Grandma Davies).
This week we attended our first Bouncing Babies Story Time at the library. Atticus went wild. The Story Time lady read stories, talked to the babies, sang to them, and had the moms do nursery rhymes and games with the babies too. Atticus was so excited about the whole experience. He waved his arms and legs around, squealed, talked, smiled, and giggled. He was seriously so excited he was frantic. When we got home he was perhaps a little over-stimulated. He fussed for a while until he finally fell asleep and took a nap. A four hour nap. That's right, it took him four hours to recover from the excitement of Story Time.

Yup, 4 hours is how long it takes me to recover from story time as well. I just get so darn excited.
I can already tell he's gonna be a great little reader. He just gets cuter and cuter.
How fun! I wish our library did something like that!
