The Scoop

Here's the scoop:

Our whole family is starting to get out and about and enjoying the warm weather. And some nights I'm even getting enough sleep to feel like a normal person the next day. We have had a host of family events for the Bradleys and the Davies scheduled over the past two weeks and into next week. There has been lots of cousin fun time for the kids.

Felix is growing like a weed. At his two week appointment he weighed in at 10 lbs 4 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. That puts him at a nearly 2 lb gain from birth and 1/2 inch taller too. He's doing just about everything else right too. And boy are we grateful. We can't really keep up with the other demands on our time as it is, so it's nice he's not very demanding. How do people have a third child if he isn't Angel Boy?

Violet is nearly constantly perky and is loving summer. And Grandma's ice cream. She has adapted nicely to our new family dynamic, and loves her "babby" brother.

Atticus had the most trouble with the changes around our house at first, but now seems to be on the way back to big boy behavior. He is an excellent tree climber, by the way.
Oh, and James wanted to compare our kids' height/weight stats for their first two weeks. And we've basically kept no records of our children's existence except for this blog, so I had to find their stats from previous posts. I've got them through the first year of their lives. After that the documentation in all areas declines. Oh well. Anyway:

Atticus:
Birth - 7 lbs 7 oz., 19.5 in.
2 Weeks - 9 lbs 9 oz., 21.5 in.

Violet:
Birth - 8 lbs 7 oz., 21 in.
2 Weeks - 9 lbs 8 oz., 21 in.

Felix:
Birth - 8 lbs 8 oz, 21 in.
2 Weeks - 10 lbs 4 oz., 21.5 in

I'm glad you are surviving. Felix is a doll. It's amazing how much your kids look like each other!
