Violet is Five Months Old!

And also, a month ago, she turned four months old (we've been busy).

Here's what's going on with Violet now:

• at her four month checkup she weighed 14.5 lbs. and was 25 inches long, coming in around the 50th-75th percentiles
• she rolls from back to front and front to back, but only over her left shoulder
• she finds it more challenging to roll from front to back, so she sometimes gets "stuck" on her tummy and demands to be flipped over like a pancake
• she smiles and giggles for us more often and finds funny noises and big kisses especially amusing
• she loves watching her big brother play and will sometimes burst into tears if he leaves the room she's in
• she loves playing with all kinds of toys now and has become "Miss Grabby Hands"
• is a cuddly, snuggly, personable sweetheart who makes us feel honored to be her family
