And a few weeks more by now. And he is oh so sweet. He's a big chunky loving baby. He's growing unbelievably fast. He weighed in at 15 lbs 6 oz and was 25.5 inches long at his two month appointment. I figured that was pretty big when the nurse started calling coworkers over to see how big he was. Turns out chubby babies tend to be pretty healthy and happy, so we'll take it.
There are lots of adjustments to make when adding another person to the family, but we seem to have weathered most of them now. Newborns sure require lots of time too. I am grateful Felix is such an easy-going guy. That makes all the difference. He's getting a regular schedule now, and is up twice in the night just to eat, and then back to sleep. He's got a big gorgeous smile and is making all kinds of cute cooing noises. He's also making the beginnings of a giggle. Felix is luckier than Atticus in the hair department, and seems to have kept more of his thick locks so far. Felix is also well loved by his siblings and is the involuntary recipient of much affection. He is strong and seems to better at and mind tummy time less than his siblings at this age. He's not so willing to take a pacifier or a bottle right now, so we're working on that. He likes his swing, the stroller, and the baby sling/backpack, but not so much the car seat. Violet has trouble pronouncing his name, so she mostly calls him X or Fox. We love our little fox.
